Testimonials
“I’m sold on Active Release Techniques to keep me running and injury free. As an ultra runner, I typically run 80 to 100 miles a week, so my body is constantly on the edge. I first came to Active Therapeutics with a chronic hamstring issue, which I’d torn 10 months prior and was still in pain with knots and tightness that other therapies were not able to address. In a couple of treatments, they were able to target the core injury and release the muscle groups so that I had even better range of motion than I had before the tear—and no pain! Now I go to Active Therapeutics for preventative treatment to keep me at my peak performance.”

Burt Lauray I am very pleased with your work on my foot. The pain in my big toe and unrelated ankle pain caused me to stop many activities that I enjoy. After 4 surgeries the past 35 years to correct my ankle condition I have lost a lot of flexibility. I consulted two orthopedic doctors and another doctor for good solutions and learned that the pain in my large toe and ankle was from arthritis. Their solution was to fuse the two joints. My further search introduced me to you and your discipline of Active Release Techniques. You discovered that the pain in my toe was complicated by tight muscles that control my toes. In the short course of your work, you brought more flexibility to my ankle thus lessening the pain and eliminated the pain in my toes. We obviously did not cure the arthritis but now I have more time without pain to do the things that I enjoy doing. It was money well spent – thanks!
Mardi Bruce Thank you for supporting my participation in the Breast Cancer 3-Day. It was an incredible 60-mile journey and I have so many wonderful memories. The Boston event raised over 4 million dollars for Breast Cancer Research! Day one started in pouring rain and mud which turned into many blisters! The medics helped us take care of them, and we kept on walking. The second day I developed some shin splints, but no matter, with all the thousands of people cheering us on we kept walking. The third day was mighty hot & humid, but again we kept on walking. The sights of Boston were beautiful. From Lexington and Arlington, to Harvard Square, to beautiful colonial homes, to Boston Commons, to the shoreline we saw so many wonderful and historical sights. There were sweep vans asking us if we wanted a ride, but we said "No way" because we knew with every step we are getting closer to a cure. On every corner there was another story and another family being affected by this terrible disease cheering us on. The closing ceremony after 60 miles was amazing. We forgot the pain, and were so glad to be there in the birthplace of America being a part of something so important. When I walked in the "Survivor Walk" with so many others who were commited to ending cancer it was a moment I'll never forget. Because of your generosity, and the support of all of my donors, "Mardi's Mission" raised $17,000.00 to help end breast cancer. For more information about the 3-Day and Susan G.
